This position provides advice, direct coordination, and various technical services related to space development and management. This position will assist in the definition and development of renovation and new construction projects, and will serve as the primary resource for all technical problems and questions regarding the management and analyses of data used in relevant capital and space planning. This position will be required to perform complex statistical, special, and graphic data analysis. This position will also coordinate with the space information system to ensure that the physical space inventory for all space is accurate and current.
Minimum Qualifications: one to five years experience in space planning and design management of buildings; basic knowledge of building codes; ability to inspect and determine the adaptability and cost of renovation of existing structures; knowledge of related state and federal regulations and statutes; demonstrated knowledge, skill, and ability to manage computer-based space management systems; strong organizational and time management skills; ability to develop study reports, technical documentation, and project plans; thorough knowledge of the principles, practices, and methods of Space Management; wide ranging experience in such areas as planning, leadership, decision-making, and administration; and demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior administrators.
